Richard Han

 

Richard Hanis a Korean Canadian and a cultural adoptee of Campbell/Windsor family with Heiltsuk First Nation. He graduated from Simon Fraser 

University (SFU) with a Masters of Public Health (MPH) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology. He is the co-chair for Policy Advocacy Research Committee in Public Health Association of BC and the Provincial Manager forFarm to School BC, a provincially funded healthy eating initiative that provides healthy and local foods to children. He also brings diverse and rich experiences from working in: K-12 community school, child and family services, social development, health authority and universities. Richard is passionate about social equality, justice and health promotion, and wants to support his Korean community thrive and be heard. In his spare time, Richard enjoys playing his guitar, collecting vinyl records, and exploring the world.
