Angela MacKenzie is an experienced communicator who has worked on major health-care and transportation infrastructure projects in Metro Vancouver.
Currently at Providence Health Care, Angela supports the St. Paul’s Hospital Redevelopment Project, providing best-practice public engagement and communications expertise to support and enable stakeholder engagement in health services planning and decision-making. Angela previously worked on the B.C. Children’s and B.C. Women’s Redevelopment Project on behalf of the Provincial Health Services Authority, where her responsibilities included issues management, media relations and crisis communications. Prior to that, she was the community relations manager for the Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project, B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Angela spent more than a decade as a journalist. She was also the first Korean-Canadian woman elected to the board of directors of S.U.C.C.E.S.S and served on the board for six years.
