Min Hye Chung

Animal Biology | Veterinarian

Before calling Canada her home, Min spent her life growing up in England, Italy, and South Korea. Min pursued a degree in Cell Biology and Genetics at the University of British Columbia, but it was her ongoing love for medicine and animals that helped her realize her true calling. After graduation, she pursued her dreams of becoming a veterinary surgeon by attending the University of Queensland in Australia. She is currently a member of the CVBC and AVMA.
Min has spent six weeks travelling and volunteering in Africa with Volunteer Abroad. She was also the chairman of Unite for Sight, represented her school at BC Cancer Association, volunteered with Rosies Soup Kitchen and St. John Ambulance.
When Min isn’t at the clinic treating her furry friends, she can be found in the great outdoors – hiking, snowboarding, or jogging!
