Sandy Lee is a former MLA for Range Lake in Northwest Territories and Minister of Health and Social Services, Minister Responsible for Status of Women, Minister Responsible for Persons with Disabilities, Minister Responsible for Homeless and Minister Responsible for Seniors. She is the first Korean born Canadian to be elected to a provincial/territorial legislature jn Canada. She is also the second woman MLA (1999 - 2011) and the first woman to sit on the NWT Cabinet from the NWT Capital City of Yellowknife (2007-2011). Ms. Lee obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with High Honours from Carleton University (Ottawa, 1989) and a law degree from Dalhousie University (Halifax, 1997). She also studied Business Administration in Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (Calgary, 1985). Most recently (2001-2015) she served as the NWT political advisor to Federal Ministers. Sandy Lee currently resides in 108 Mile Ranch House in British Columbia.
