Carmen Tham

carmen_tham.jpgCarmen Tham is an associate with the Clark Wilson LLP's Insurance and Infrastructure, Construction & Procurement Groups. Carmen’s practice focuses primarily on insurance, construction, professional negligence, product liability, occupier’s liability, motor vehicle accident and personal injury law. Carmen has particular expertise in defending consultants (architects, engineers, construction managers, project managers) in a variety of construction related claims.

She has represented clients in the British Columbia Supreme Court and the British Columbia Court of Appeal and in a number of mediations and trials.

Carmen graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science, with major in Biological Sciences. She then studied law at the University of British Columbia. Carmen also has her ARCT degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music in piano performance.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and working out at the Bar Method and at her gym as well as dance including ballet.
